Has anyone used this product? Does it work? Jake is covered in fleas even though he was given his Frontline two weeks ago. I hate these little black icky things... hate them!!!

I've told you about the DE in the other thread and now I'll tell you about Springtime Garlic Bug Off....

http://www.springtimeinc.com/product/148/2

They are having a sale right now...buy 2bottles/get 2 free! I've been using this (haven't used any monthly flea treatments with it) on all 6 of my dogs since last Feb and so far--so good! I haven't seen a tick or flea on them yet. I figured I'd give it a try. I usually would have problems with fleas in August and September so I can let you know if it works completely when those months are over. It takes several weeks for it to fully get into their systems.

Last year my dogs caught fleas by playing with my grandchildrens' dog and they all got tapeworm from the fleas so it might be a good idea to keep some D-Wormer on hand. Good luck, I hope you get a handle on the flea problem.

I use the DE for the yard and Springtime's Bug Off for the dogs ( not for immune compromised Cody though). The garlic does take time to build up in their system though. I also bathe the crew weekly. I'd give him a good bath and let the suds stay on him for a few minutes, and make sure to lather him right down to the skin. It will help.

LOL Thor, I feel your pain!!! I have given many cats pills and it is NOT FUN.

I am going to try to get Jake into the vet today. Unfortunately due to her cancer (the vet, not Jake) she isn't always in. But I'm going to try. I will also be trying the garlic as well as soon as I get a paycheck.... I'm total busted right now and my vet allows me to run a tab. I'll let you know what happens.
