Congratulations on your new puppy!!! Can't wait to see more pics of him. Do you have a name picked out, yet?

I had just seen a segment of Dogs 101 on great danes and even though I knew they were a big dog I met up with one at the vets shortly after seeing the show. They are BIG!!!! Well, I guess TALL would be a better description. Did you know that the guy who played Robin in the old Batman T.V. series (can't think of his name off hand) rescues Great Danes? He and his wife take them into their home until they find an adoptive home for them. They have quite a few at any given time.

Congratulations on your new puppy ! I love Great Danes - they are great dogs.

I just have one question - to each his own BUT have you ever held a puppy for bandage changes and things like that after the crop ? I have and it is something that is EXTREMELY painful. I could never do it to one of my animals - to put them in that much pain for no reason - or for vanity sake. If you have not done this you may want to do so and experience it first hand it just might change your mind.

I feel the same way about cat declaws - but to each his own. Thankfully that clinic I used to work for won't do them anymore.
