My Golden is called Simba and he is 7months old. I was just thinking of the cute things that he does that always make me giggle!! I would love to hear others too

1. In the morning he always brings his favourite teddy outside with him when he goes to the loo, then he leaves it down while he goes and brings it back in when hes done. He also brings them into bed at night.., its so cute.
2. If i leave the bedroom door open he always sneaks in and will be found sleeping on our bed
3. He comes to my side in the morning and lays his head beside mine waiting for me to open my eyes. When i do he takes that as "im in." and jumps staight up on the bed.
4.I cant say the word "car" or he crys and crys to go in it. I cant even leave the car open or he sits in it. He always sits in the drivers seat too?!
5.I love that he still thinks he is small enough to sit on my knee and to and sit on a single chair with me.
6. Finally i always have a smile because he is always so happy!. He always meets us at the door delighted to see us and showers us with licks!, his tail never stops wagging, he is always loving and loves to sit up beside us on the couch and give us a lick on the face!

My golden, Emmy passed away in April at the age of 14 1/2 (we are picking up our new pup on 8/1!). But some of the cute things that Emmy did were:
She liked to have the webbing between her toes rubbed and would put her paw on the knee of anyone who was willing to do this for her. When she had enough on one foot she would switch to the other. We bought and wrapped toys for her every Christmas and she would "unwrap" them and gather all of them between her paws and alternate chewing on each one. She had an "Airbud - Cujo" routine where we would say "Cujo" and she would growl and show her teeth ferociously and then you would say "Airbud" and her lips would go down and her ears would go back submissively. She was pretty special and we miss her dearly. Our new pup will help I'm sure. And then I will have more cute things to report!

When we get up every morning, Monty runs downstairs and jumps into the chair where he know I will want to sit to drink my coffee. He just sits there and dares me to throw him off. And I do - every morning. He just looks so cute and defient. And he is also always smiling. He has taught me a lot about being happy all the time!

Gilmour does the same, except it's the couch. When he see's me heading for it, he races ahead and sits on my end and smiles. It's not like he doesn't have the entire other end to himself LOL

Lately I've just been sitting down anyway and make him wiggle out LOL

  • I love how when Lucy is ready for bed or to cuddle for a mid-day nap, she carries around her stuffed basketball or football.
  • I love that we're always finding some stuffed toy in our bed.
  • I love how about an hour before my alarm will go off, Lucy will climb in between us in bed and go to sleep, using my butt (I'm a side sleeper) for a pillow.
  • I love how after her morning potty break, I'll feed her breakfast, and after she eats, she'll cuddle back up in bed with Bart while I shower and get ready for work until he decides to stop hitting the snooze button.
  • I love that when she's scared outside, she always runs home.
  • I love that she hates Mondays
  • I love that she just knows when it's Friday and is always extra huggy.
  • I love that she's a cuddler and expects some cuddle / nap time right after lunch on Sundays.
  • I love how she loves a good belly rub.
  • I love how she knows to play carefully with my youngest niece and is protective of both my nieces.

I loved how one of my previous goldens used to "smile" at little children. She adored babies and small children and would crawl up to them and start licking their toes to make them laugh. She never licked their faces or stood up around them to scare them.

Cody makes me laugh because he loves to see me so much. He "talks" to me when I come home and looks so sad when he sees me getting ready to leave. He also loves to dance and sit on my lap, even though he is too big. He loves cuddles and every morning when my alarm goes he is on top of the bed nudging me under the ear and giving wet kisses.

There are few things that make me laugh like my dogs.
