What's your Goldens routine>

Im curious to know what your Goldens routine is but, as a fairly new goldie owner I want to make sure my dog is getting everything he needs. So, what is your daily routine(with times if possible)and what is your dogs age? Thank you in advance

Depends on what is going on at the time...

My young dogs are staying with friends until after I have my baby, since I don't have anyone to watch them last minute if I go into labor without warning. It's a huge relief off my mind as I was very concerned, plus it will make the first few days at home easier.

All I have now is my sweet old dog He makes his own routine, but he's 11 years old. He sleeps late. He is still in the bed right now at 9 30 AM, and I have been up since 6 30 AM. He is under the covers, twitching and dreaming. LOL

For a puppy, I tend to have a routine of

Up, out...

In, feed

Out again

House time (for about an hour)

Out again

Crate time...

Repeat... through the day.

This way, they have no unsupervised time inside and tend not to make any mistakes, but also learn to be alone and I get breaks to do what I need to do around the house.

6;00am we up -15 min on backyard to do business and play ball ,so we are not that crazy inside house
6;30-food time
7:30-8;00am walk with daddy or me(when he is out of town)
between 1:00 and 3:00pm one more walk depending on what time i will get home. Most often we walk to pick up kids from school.
5;00pm dinner time
after that play time does unscheduled.Depends on whether and who is home.Somebody will play ball for sure.

Oakly and Caue are almost 3 and 2 respectively. Weekdays we get up with the alarm at 7am and I go take a shower while the boys sleep in a bit more. Then we go downstairs and they go out side on a leads for a morning potty trip while I make their and my breakfast. We all eat and then another potty trip. Then I'm off to work till noon when I come home and let them out and in again. I eat lunch and then I'm back to work til 3 or 4 in the afternoon. (sometimes I take the boys back to work with me after lunch) At 3 or 4, weather permitting I get home and take them for an hour walk of about 3 miles around town. After we get back it is WWF wrestling while I do chores and cook supper. Supper is around 6 for all of us. A few more trips outside for the boys. They boys stay busy wrestling each other or with me til they start to settle down around 8 PM. They take turns sitting in my lap in the evening. Usually a last trip out at about 9 then we head up to bed around 11.
