Hi,
Sorry if this has alreay been covered somewhere, but I'm looking for suggestions to keep Mad from scratching where she has been shaved for surgery. On Tuesday she had a growth removed from the neck area, and is shaved down her front neck, and up over the shoulder blade. She's not really scratching the incision, but the large shaved area around it is becoming very irritated from her scratching.
If I see her (which is at all the time except during the night) I just hold her foot and put it back on the ground and she stops but during the night both Tues. and last night she left bloddy scratch marks on her skin.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Mad's Mom (Cindy)
