Well, we are still waiting for the dam to go into heat. As I’ve obsessed about things I started thinking about “what if she was bred on this date, what would be her due date?”
I never thought it would be possible for her to have a due date of the day my first dog passed away, but as we continue to wait I’m beginning to think it would be very possible!
I subtracted 63 days from December 7th which would be October 5th.
She’s so close to being ready. I think that would be an amazing trick of the universe to have my puppy be born on the 1 year anniversary of my dog Skip’s passing.
I guess I’ll just have to wait and see!

That would be a strange cosmic thing to have happen. I'm not sure if like that. To celebrate one dogs birthday and have to remember that on the same day? I don't think I'd be for it.
Whatever happens, you were blessed with a beautiful dog in Skip and there's another beautiful dog looming in your future. It doesn't get much better than that. ??
Sounds like if not the same day then certainly the same time period. I don't believe in coincidences and believe your first dog would be smiling down at you! It will be a wonderful time to celebrate your new pup and honor your first dog. Good luck!
Harley had her 2nd tie today! She delivered at 59 days 11 puppies with her last litter. That still puts her at a Dec 7th due date and I am still #11 as of today. This will be tense!
I've moved on the list again going from #11 to #10 increasing my odds even more to get a puppy from this litter.
Harley was bred about 2 weeks ago on the 7th, 8th, and 9th. I have a feeling time will be sloooooooow from here on out!
I remember this wait 6 years ago. Sending you positive and calming vibes.
