Tex's visit to the Vet!

Well Tex went for his second vet's visit, he was an angel, He had his 3rd round of shot's including his Rabies shot, the vet said he is doing very well. we have another visit in 4 weeks for his final vac shots. Of course everyone loved Tex, and we even had vet tech's coming from the back to see him, what a ham he was he is now 18lbs so my little one is getting bigger

Anyway I'll post pic's later

It is like that everytime Bama goes to the vet. All the girls love him and come out or into the office to give him hugs. I think it is goldens that bring it out.

That is great that he seems to enjoy the vets. Most of mine have learn to dislike going to the vets. One of mine will not even get out of the car when I pull into the vets....... LOL

I especially relish those visits to the vet when the entire waiting room is full of Goldens. It's happened to me several times. The reception staff is always in awe of how happy and well behaved the dogs are, calling it a Golden Day! My Goldens have always enjoyed visiting the vets, probably because we stop by frequently on our daily walks to weigh them, pick up prescriptions or say hi. The staff always greets and finds a "treat" for the boys. They think it's a social visit until they get into the exam rooms! Our vet also has a doggie day camp beach "resort" in the back and our youngest thinks he's going there for a day of fun and games!

Dallas Gold, I love the idea of the doggy day camp at the beach what a great way to get the pup's to love going to the vet's.

The vet we have is great to all the animals, and humans alike, and one thing I like about him is he doesn't do any unnecessary things to keep the cost down for the client. Like yesterday's charge was under $100 for his 3rd round shots, incl Rabies, and heartguard for 6 months. He matches 1-800Pets prices to keep his clients coming to him. The other Vet that we checked with would have been $250 min.
