[a year, that's pretty good, how long did the other two last? QUOTE=mygoldengirl;6389186]Another dog bed lost today. At least this one lasted a year before the girls finished it off. Here's the score:
Maybe it would help to think of it this way... some say that one year in a human life is equal to 7 years for a dog. I have also heard that we should replace our mattresses every 8 years...maybe your pups just decided that their bed should be replaced just a tad early.
The second bed lasted one month and the third lasted a day so this first bed is really the winner. The girls have more toys than most kids so I'm not sure why the beds are a target. I really can't complain because outside of destroying the beds, they really are good girls. At two years old, kids will be kids I guess.
 I know that feeling!! We now use really old armchairs, but they look terrible in our living room so I'm going to look into Kuranda beds - aluminium of course!!
Guilty face
Wearing the bed
Another guilty face
This one was meant to be really durable and non-chewable, not with Derek around!! :roflmao:

Oh my gosh! Between Maggie, Casey and Derek I think the 3 of them could form their own company testing the durability of dog beds as Carolina mom suggested. The only problem I see with that is that no company would pass the exacting durability tests set forth by the 3 of them....let's just say they'd take a bite out of company profits.
This was the new bed that we picked up last month. We got it at pet smart on a Sunday. The picture is the same bed Monday afternoon. The funny thing about this is that I always get a big greeting when I come home. After each bed beating, they sat in their crate instead of coming to the door. They understand more than we give them credit for and they are all about team work .
Those beds looked threatening and unsafe. These dogs did you a favor and put them out of their misery. I am pretty sure I saw an eye witness news report about how those particular beds ate golden retrievers. Phew. Close call.
