Hey, my name is Matt and I set up an account because I have a golden retriever (named Indie) who is 8 months old and yesterday I applied some anti-flea ointment on her fur and ever since then she has had two 'episodes' that I have noticed where the bottom of her eyelids droop and it looks as if her eyes roll back and she becomes very docile and although she seems very 'out of it' she still responds when you call her but she seems a lot more quiet and not as playful and just lies down. Could this be a mild seizure? I took her to the vet and he said it might be, but he also didn't prescribe any medication. Should I get a second opinion or is it good that he didn't prescribe anything? And lastly could these episodes be happening because of the anti-flea ointment that she got these seizures? I've never noticed any thing this major before. She used to twitch a lot in her sleep but I thought that was normal... Please let me know. Thanks

Which brand? If something other than Front Line or Advantage wash it off. Many issues with Harts, etc.

Dont trust OTC flea meds, if that is what you use, they can cause problems, like seizures. Wash it off with dawn dish soap. Hopefully she will fine.
