I Didn't Know...

Before I got a golden retriever, I didn't know...

  • I'd have to keep my shoes picked up, or someone would pick them up for me.
  • I'd have to brush someone's teeth every morning when I brushed my own.
  • I'd have someone who could groan with the best of them if I didn't do what they wanted.
  • I'd have to find a home for the TV remote and keep it there, or it would be confiscated every morning.
I love it, but I surely didn't see it coming!!!

LOL, Welcome to the club.
It takes patience & consistancy.
re-shoes & TV remote teach him/her "LEAVE-IT!"

It takes time, but at 6 months our Bella was pretty trust worthy on these two.

To keep with the title....

I didn't know my heart could feel such love and adoration for and from another creature.

I didn't know how much I would need my puppy nor how strongly my emotional reaction to him would be.

I didn't know he was going to be this much work and I didn't know it would be this rewarding.
