Agility videos

We built an A-frame

There's my good old buddy. He doesn't go that fast in trials but at least he's sped up a lot since we've been practicing more.

The crazy little man needs to learn that flinging his front feet to the ground from several inches above the yellow is not good

Katie...You Rock! I love your videos and I love what you do with your dogs. The time and dedication that you and your dogs put into the sport of agility is amazing! I wish I lived in your area so I could come see you compete sometime...

WOW... your golden is amazingly fast!!!! Just a question... why does your older dog stop at the bottom like that? It looks hard.

It came to me that every time I lose a dog they take a piece of my heart with them. And every new dog who comes into my life, gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are. Unknown

Thanks all!

Training them to stop at the bottom makes it less likely that they'll miss the contact (they have to hit the yellow part at the bottom), and it's a lot clearer of a job for the dog. He just can't wait to get to the ground so rather than just running to the bottom he flings his front feet to the ground from as high as possible - he makes it look harder than it should be
