Unhappy PLS HELP-Bonded pair looking for home

As few of you may know, I rescue dogs including Golden Retrievers in Turkey and a couple in Italy to be homed to Europe or US. I urgently need your help if any of you or your friends may be interested into a bonded pair from Turkey.
This time , I am very desperate, angry and devastated because after 4 years, Oscar Fox & Rita are being abandoned due to some political environment. I may not go very much into detail here but try Ataturk who founded Turkey 1923 was fond of dogs and his most famous dog was Fox. Since than most of the military bases or military recreational centres had dogs named Fox does not matter which breed. In 2014 , one of the recreational centres asked me again for a GR because one of the dogs inside ( a GR named Hector had cancer and was about to die). At the moment, the youngest I was fostering a male GR named Oscar. ( 6 month old) and after he was homed to the military he was named Fox but I always called him OscarFox. After vaccinations he got neutered Soon after a second GR was also homed there which was named Rita and got spayed aswell.
They have been living a wonderful life since than and never got separated. Another petfriendly family whom I homed another GR 4 years ago ( Marla) was joining them 3 times a week to enjoy the immense garden and play together with Oscar & Rita. They were loved and given attention even though 3 generals changed since 2014. However, just 10 days ago, with the arrival of new General , we received the news that no more dogs are allowed. Unfortunately, Turkey is becoming less and less secular and new positions are held now by religious soldiers and in Islam religions dogs are considered almost as sin. I am heartbroken. I have so many golden retrievers to be homed at the moment and I cannot find even one proper adaptor in Istanbul not necessarily mentioning Turkey is going through a great economical crisis & recessions and dozens of dogs are abandoned everyday on the streets with the excuse that they change home and cannot afford even themselves.I just had another GR ( Goofy) returned due to family reasons ( a baby arrived ) which was adopted 4 years ago. There is no way I have a chance to home Oscar & Rita as a duo (both 4-4,5 yrs at the moment) together.I am not in Turkey at the moment , I will post here pictures & videos. But I will post more when I am back to Istanbul. I have been told to remove them from there by the end of the month. I do not know anymore where to put them . They are friendly, cats are OK eventhough sometimes they run after them just for play, gooses & chickens & roosters are OK since the base also had such animals. No problem with other dogs. They are potty trained, vaccinations are uptodate. Their yearly dhpp & bronchine & rabbies are given this month.
I would be very grateful to let me know if you know any family who would like to adopt a bonded pair. I also included here the day when Rita was abandoned with a rope on her neck

There are a lot of GR Rescues here in the US that bring in Goldens from Turkey.

Adopt a Golden Atlanta is one of the largest groups that brings them in, they work with a local person to bring them to the States.

Peri29, I'd love to take them. I have just finished fencing in an acre of my land, and I'd love to have these two sweethearts live with me. I don't have enough posts to PM you, so please send me a private message with your info, and I'll contact you.

Question for you-if a Forum member is interested in adopting these two, will you be bringing them to the US for the Member?

Dear Carolina,

If the time permits yes. The following months will be difficult for me because I need to travel between Europe & Turkey a lot and unfortunately two of my dogz will have ops again, and one is a difficult operation and it is the 3rd operation this year. The one who got her spleen removed, than the tumor on the mouth , now for the soft palate problem. If I cannot make it , they usually fly with a FV ( flight volunteer). A flight volunteer is a regular airlines customer or a friend who fly from Istanbul to US on a direct flight. A FV has permission to fly two dogs. The dogs do not need to be personal dogs. They can be of friends, of a rescue as long as they have all the necessary travel documents. Of course, it is also important where the applicant resides so that we may contact a local rescue to assist us for house visit.

I think working with one of the US GR Rescue Groups that brings in dogs from Turkey is your best option for these two dogs. There are several Groups that are part of the GRCA National Rescue Committee that do this with help of the GRCA.org.

I also think you should let any member who may be interested in adopting these two, that you provide as much information about them as well as how you would get them to the US for the member.

Personally I would be extremely hesitant to adopt a dog(s) from another Country from someone I didn't know. I would ONLY adopt a Turkey Dog from one of the approved GR Rescues on the National Rescue Committee Listing that have been bringing in Turkey Dogs for several years.

ETA: I've been a member here since 2009, as a Moderator, I feel obligated to caution members if they decide to contact you about adopting these two, they do so at their own risk.
