Well, it is 6 months yesterday that we said good-bye to Billie Jean. We still think of her every day and wish she was with us. I am just glad she is well now and can play. She loved to be outside in the fall with the leaves, but her real happy time was when it snowed and she could put her nose down in the snow and run. She also liked to run beside the snow blower and jump and catch the snow as it came out. I know it is going to be a real hard day for my husband the first snow fall that he has to use the snow blower, they would be out on our driveway playing for a long time. We don't cry as much, but the ache is still there. Everyone here has been such a help and I love reading about all of the other loved goldens. Love you all....
Buddy was like Billie Jean snow dog, loved snow a lot. It was hard to get him into the house in winter time. Once when all seasons are over I guess it is going to be little bit easier for us. We are blessed they were with us even for such short time.
Peace be with you my friend till we meet them again.
It's going to be hard the next few months with the holidays. I am glad that I have friends to come to in need. Special hugs to you. I still cry everyday for General and Belle.
Maybe Billie Jean will be sending you a sign or a message when you see the first snow flake, telling you she's OK, thinking of you, and still with you in spirit.
I know in many ways it probably feels like it was only yesterday that Billie Jean left and in others, it probably feels like it was a lifetime ago.
I lost my boy in Feb.of this year-it's been 8 months already, it doesn't seem possible.
Life goes on for us that are left behind, but so does the heartache and pain - Billie Jean will always walk beside you
