As Kora said, look at the colour of the ears. The pup will probably be that colour when fully grown.

However. Colour is the worst criterion to use when choosing a pup. It's much better to choose by personality. Within a litter, you're likely to find a very wide range of personalities and activity levels. What kind of life will your dog have? Are you looking for a hiking companion or a couch potato? If the latter, you should be choosing a pup with a lower activity level. If you choose by colour, you may well end up with the most energetic pup in the litter. An energetic adolescent Golden that doesn't get enough exercise is more likely to develop unwanted behaviours such as digging up your garden, destroying your furniture and so on. Also, if you're an inexperienced owner (which may be the case if you're choosing your pup based on its colour), you probably want a more laid-back dog that's more forgiving and easier to train. If you choose by colour, you may end up with the most assertive pup in the litter, one that will challenge your authority, treat your hands as chew toys and be generally difficult to live with.

I'd strongly recommend deciding on the type of dog you want and then asking the breeder to identify the right pup for you - or at least, to identify one or two good candidates. Once you've identified the right personality and energy level, you could pick by colour at that point.

Best of luck, let us know how it goes.

Welcome!

You've received some good advice, as Ceegee said above, I would let the Breeder know what type of lifestyle you have and what you're looking to do with your pup. Work with the Breeder for the best possible match.

Breeders in your Country may do things differently than Breeders here in the US, but they try to make the best possible match for a person.

Good luck!

They all look to be around the same shade of gold to me. They also look fairly light colored. I'd say that Denver was pretty similar in color when he was a young pup, and although he is darkening quite a bit he is still definitely a light-blonde color.

As others have stated...do not choose your puppy based on color alone. Since all of those puppies are the same shade, I'd encourage you to speak to the breeder about personality and temperament first and foremost.

Best of luck!

the top picture looks slightly lighter in color but I prefer that headpiece to the ones in the bottom photo. Even though the bottom photo looks ever slightly darker, none of them are going to be dark golden.
Try to ignore color and instead look @ a pleasing headpiece and go for the best (as you can determine as a novice) structure.
