After Slow Growth diet is finished, what's next?

My pup Odin is currently 19 and a half weeks old, so in just a few days he will be at the 20 week end of the Hovan Slow Growth Plan. (https://cvgrc.org/wp-content/uploads...-Grow-2017.pdf)

I would love to hear from people who have done Slow Growth with their puppies, about how you've managed their feeding/rate of growth after the 20 week mark. The plan says to encourage slightly faster growth after 20 weeks, but it is unclear about how fast is too fast.

Looks very similar to my pup at that age (mine is now 6mo). What are you feeding and how much? I was feeding around 2.25C up to 20w then over the course of a couple weeks I gradually increased to 3C, which is how much he is currently getting fed. I am still tracking his weight and he is averaging around 2lbs a week. At 6mo he is 42lbs.

It depends on the food being fed but with most large breed puppy foods It's pretty safe to assume with your pups size, I would be feeding 3-3.5 cups a day. He looks a touch on the lean side. You want them lean while growing but a little weight on them in case they ever get sick they have a few pounds on them.

We,also, did the Slow Grow Plan. Bailey just turned 10 months old and weighs 60#. Our vet was very supportive and guided us through to his current diet. He is on Purina Pro Plan for Large Breed. He gets 3 cups of food daily divided into 2 meals. He just had a check up and she felt his weight was perfect. Good luck!

I think he looks a little too lean as well. Could be camera angles. I fed mine Purina Pro Plan Sport once the ran out of the puppy food the breeder was feeding. They are very active dogs.

I've been primarily feeding Odin Purina Pro Plan Focus Large Breed Puppy Chicken & Rice (417 kcal/cup). As of late I've been feeding him 2.25 cups per day (not counting training treats -- he also gets a daily spoonful of organic canned pumpkin). We walk 2 miles per day on average.

He weighed in today (his 20 week birthday) at 31.1 lb.

From the feedback in this thread thus far, I have increased his food today to 2.5 cups, and will plan on increasing it to 3 cups over the next two weeks.
