Need some Deworming suggestions!

Pixel just got her regular 13-14 weeks vaccines yesterday morning at the Vet. They also give her the 2rd set of Pyrantel. Later afternoon, pixel went to poop and I saw there are some white thin wiggling worm in her poop!! They are small size less than one inch, maybe half inch. It is scary to me because it is my first time raising a puppy and I have two kids... what else medicine can I continue to deworm Pixel except Pyrantel? The vet only provide 2 sets of Pyrantel which are done for the puppy package. I read online that Pyrantel is working only with hookworm and roundworm, right? How about other worms, like tapeworm, whipworm, heart worm? Any suggestions how to deworm Pixel regularly to prevent instead of going to the vet when symptoms show up. I want to both protect my puppy and my two kids...Thank you.

Do you live in the US?
You can easily buy pyrantel pamoate- even at some drug stores, certainly @ feed stores.
If pup has tapes, that requires a prescription med.
If you want enough to dose the whole family, you can buy the Columbia Labs version (which is 10X stronger than the ones made for dogs but still easily dosed) https://www.lambertvetsupply.com/Pyr...QaAkqhEALw_wcB

Thank you. I live at US. I also searched online and found some people use Panacur C. Is it safe to use and how frequent to use? Thank you.

Call your vet - tell them what you saw. They'll have you bring in a poop sample and they'll give you what you need and tell you how often to give it.

I don't believe Pancur will treat tapeworms.

But i stand corrected according to their website:

For the treatment and control of Roundworms (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina), Hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, Uncinaria stenocephala), Whipworms (Trichuris vulpis), and Tapeworms (Taenia pisiformis).

That kind of tape isn't commonly found in dogs, so in essence you are right- Panacur isn't for tapes...

That wiggling small worms only showed up in one poop later that afternoon after the Pyrantel. I already cleaned it up and there is no way to show the sample to the vet. Should I still call vet office about that? Pixel will get the next vaccine in 3 weeks but no vet checkup appointment.
