Introduction

I figured it's about time I quit lurking and say hello. I've learned so much from all of you already! The newest addition to our family is Bear, our 12 week old baby boy. It's such a blessing to have a puppy in the house as it's been waaaayy too quiet since we lost our 13 y/o Irish Setter, Kelly last spring.

He is, IMHO, awesome! I do wish the whole potty training thing was going better though!

What a cutie! I love that puppy fluff (I miss that!). Welcome. As for the potty training, it will get better. Are you maintaining a schedule? Take him out every couple of hours and tell him to "go pee" or whatever your command is going to be. Praise him and give special treats when he does it outside. IF he does it inside, don't punish him, just get him outside asap and see if he will finish going outside. Make sure you take him out immediately after eating, sleeping or playing. Those are key potty times.
