Eagle Pack Dry Dog Food

I've got a question that hopefully someone can answer. My dogs have been eating Eagle Pack Dry Dog food for the past 10 years with no issues. It was recommended by the breeder of my now 12 year old golden. The 12 year old had been switched over to PPP Sensitive Skin and Stomach (lamb) just shy of a year ago due to some health issues that arose. I recall not too long ago, reading something about an ingredient in Eagle Pack food that can cause females to emit an odor that attracts other dogs, specifically male dogs. I know it sounds crazy, and I'm hoping I didn't dream this up. Anyway, I'm just asking because my one spayed female is absolutely irresistible to ALL male dogs. The best obedience trained males will break a STAY to sniff her out. Everyone that owns a male in training classes asks if she has in fact been spayed! It doesn't happen with my girl that's on the Purina.

Am I crazy or could this be legit. I swear I read it someplace.

Any input would be appreciated as I don't know if I lost my mind.

Is it grain-free? If so, you might consider switching all of them due to potential DCM.
