Brewer's yeast??

There's so much confusion out there, curious if anyone has opinion one way or ther other on brewer's yeast? I heard it's a waste product that goes straight from the Coors factory to Purina.

Doesn't seem like something a dog would eat naturally and like a cheap filler. Would love to know what you all think, especially since goldens are more sensitive.
