Callous or sore/Rash?

Hello charlie is 14 months and has developed this spot. He doesn't bother with is so I assume its just a callous but does anyone have any ideas on what I can do to fix it? He's too young for it!

Rash?

What is this?? He is 14 months I shaved his belly so I could see it better and clean it properly.. it's under his tail and a bit further around where I didn't shave too.. I saw a spot on his back but cant find it now.. I also pulled a **** tick off him but I dont think that's related. I think it attached this evening for my daughters soccer game. I'm super upset as I treated him 2 weeks ago with a spot on flea and tick.

FYI-savannabanna, I merged your two threads together so you would have all the info in the same thread.

Call your Vet to have your boy seen as soon as possible for the rash.

You may also want to ask about a different Flea and Tick product to use. Certain products work better in a particular area. For example, the topicals don't work where I live, I have been using Nexgard for several years and it's working great.

Hope your boy is doing better soon.

I was also going to say "staph infection". It really does not go away on it's own, so a trip to the vet will help tremendously. It was most likely there way before the tick was. But meds do definitely help. Good luck!

Thanks! I wanted to do that but wasnt sure how! I'm going to see what the vet suggests for flea as clearly off the shelf didn't work..
