This is the second post in a week or two from someone who wants to hire someone to help them find a puppy. Why would you not want to do that research yourself? It's not that daunting and it's part of the learning process. You learn a lot about health clearances and socialization and you will want to develop a relationship with your breeder. If she or he is a good, responsible breeder, they will be in your life for the life of the dog. Plus, only you and your family know what you are looking for in a puppy, in terms of energy and lifestyle and what you plan to do with your dog. I encourage you to take this on yourself. Paying someone might get you a puppy - but it might not be the best puppy for you.
