english style breeder in greater memphis area?

We are looking for an english style golden in driving distance. Does anyone have experience with Southern Charm Goldens in Mississippi. They are expecting a litter in December that we are interested in. I see the Dam and Sire have hip and elbow clearances on OFA, but I don't see anything else.

Any advice or other breeder recommedations would be appreciated!

Who is the sire and dam? Titan has heart, elbows, and hips. No eyes! I would email the breeder about that.

Orthopedic Foundation for Animals

They use Nuvet vitamens. you must keep your dog on the nuvet for 2 years in order for the guarantee to be valid.

Also, looking at their guarentee, if the dog becomes dysplastic all they do is give you a replacement. No monetary refund

If it is dixie as the dam..nothing in OFA

Sire is Samson (Renegade Snow of the Morning Valley) and Dam is Lexie (Pretty in Pink of the Morning Valley).

Have you heard of this breeder?

Never. Not someone I would get a pup from.

This may be the only website that I found was reputable English Goldens in North America - Breeders

I previously had a couple of contacts with the breeder in California. I changed my mind, just for personal reasons. Anyway, as others will tell you, you still need to research the parentage and health certificates.

Best of luck.

PS: I just took a look at the webpage showing the facilities of Southern Charm Goldens. Huh. Although they claim it is air conditioned and heated, it still feels like a factory.

I don't know a lot about clearances, and my dogs only had hip and elbow. No heart and eye clearances. I didn't know any better at the time. But, I have to say I wouldn't get a dog from them just based on looking at their website. It looks like a sad place for a Golden to me.

The best breeder and their dogs are amazing. The Morning Valley is one of the best breeders in the Netherlands. Healthy dogs. And Lexie, Pretty in Pink of the Morning Valley , retired is living n Canada and almost 13 years old.
