I'm Mike, he's Max
Max has been dumped in the pound twice in his 4 years, and thank God. I was surfing the web one Friday afternoon, searching petfinder.com, and for whatever reason, I kept looking and looking and looking, until I found Max about 250 miles away. I called the shelter, talked to the lady, and the next day it was 7 hours in the car to go and pick up Max.
Needless to say, he's about the best dog ever. He wasn't fed very well nor given very good veterinary care; he was overweight and had terrible ear and skin issues. To make a long story short, he's cleaned up beautifully in the last 8 months, and I'm not sure who's more grateful, him for someone who loves and takes care of him, or me for the most wonderful company I could ever ask for.
He's got some big-time separation anxiety, but then again, so do I
On the left of the bottom picture is Riley, Golden number 4 in the Ryan family. He's my mom's boy. So, hello everyone!
