Ask us anything about our home based health solutions.

Hi everyone.
Thanks for letting us be a part of Golden Retriever forums. We are here to answer any questions about our relatively new product offering in the pet world. The centerpiece of our product is hair mineral analysis, which our lab currently does for humans at physicians' requests. As past and current dog and cat owners, including two golden retrievers (one who lived to be 15), we wanted to bring this health tool to the convenience of our homes (because we all know how much our pets love going to the vet).

This allows everyone to have real detailed data about our pet's nutritional and environmental impact on their health. It is the definition of preventive healthcare in the convenience of our homes. We now get to see 57 vitamins and minerals that may or may not be in our pet's system over a long term period. Some we want, some we don't. So check out www.wellbalancedpet.com and feel free to ask us anything.

seizures

We recently had an individual contact us to see if we could do anyting about his four year old boxer having seizures. After referring to our experts, some good information about possible environmental influences was revealed to us that we decided to share.

Myoclonic jerks and spasms often occur as the result of calcium deficiencies which can result from various reasons. Lead, strontium, aluminum, barium, nickel, and a few other metals antagonize calcium absorption. Mercury poisoning has also been associated with neurological symptoms resulting in seizures. Manganese poisoning has also been implicated in said seizures. Treatments would depend on which scenario is revealed the source of said possibilities.

Something so small can lead to something so large...
