This thread is not open for discussion. It is a message I am putting out for the entire board.

I have been disappointed recently with all the number of complaints/reported posts and closed threads that have been going on. For some reason rudeness on the board has increased, as well as bickering back and forth. We are in the process of closing some loop holes in some board rules to cover more of the rudeness areas.


First let me state that Moderators may participate in any thread they wish. They may make replies as they wish. However, once a topic has become heated they are asked to no longer participate and only moderate in the particular thread. They know this and has been discussed with them.


As for member constantly wanting to be rude in various ways we are going to start being less lenient with them and start handing out more disciplines. I am sorry we will have to do this but it is not fair to those that come here to strictly enjoy and learn things on the board. Please do not now send me PM's as to explain your side or who was at fault in any issue. This is a general announcement.


Please let's gets this board back on track without having to be heavy handed about doing so.

The rules have now been approved by the entire Mod Team and The Administrative Staff and are now updated.

Please take a moment to familiarise yourselves with all the rules and particularly Rule 13 and it's changes.

Be advised a new rule has now been approved by the Mod and Admin team and now is in place as Rule #15.

15. GoldenRetrieverForum.com Members are prohibited in posting the following types of threads: Due to the nature of certain threads, and the outcome that usually follows certain threads, we do NOT allow the following types of threads; “I am leaving this board”, “I am taking a break from this board”, ”what happen to this member?”, additionally, any discussions or threads about a member's warning or banning are prohibited. All of these types of threads cause more issues, and many times more drama on the board. All actions taken upon a GRF board member is strictly between that member and the GRF Forum Management Team. Any kind of the previously mentioned threads will be closed and/or deleted. If a member persists in continuing to create such types of threads, the GRF Forum Management Team will take action against the member that may include temporary and/or permanent suspension of a member's account.

GoldenRetrieverForum.com Members are not to engage in spamming or any advertising without permission. – Unsolicited advertising , junk mail, "spamming," chain letters or self-promotion for monetary gain is not permitted, which may also include links to sales oriented websites or informational sites that also contain sales. This applies not only to the body of a posting but also to member’s signatures, thread titles, images, sounds, PMs, emails through this website, etc. . Links that connect to commercial websites will not be considered unauthorized solicitations unless the link or the website content appears to be intended as a means of solicitation as determined by GRF Forum Management Team and/or the VerticalScope Inc. in its sole discretion. No advertising for any kind of breeding, stud services or puppy sales will be allowed as well. Announcements of new litters of puppies by forum members and accompanying pictures are considered the sharing of joyfulness… except when it’s taken to the point of becoming excessive and overwhelming with the obvious intention of ‘trolling’ for puppy buyers. The two points to be emphasized with this rule are the unsolicited nature of advertisements and that it is done without prior permission.
