I am so sorry for your loss of Bailey. I have been thru two and still remember the day they said goodbye. DH said more goodbyes like that.
The pain and heavy heart will always be but the memories of them, the naughty things they did, the good things they did, the way they always waited for you to come back (even if you just went to take a 5 min shower) will ease that heavy load.

I am sorry for you loss.

Dogs come into our lives to teach us about love.... they depart to teach us about loss. Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us every day. Unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear. What we have enjoyed we never lose. All that we loved deeply becomes a part of us.

So sorry for your loss of Bailey, it is so hard to let them go even though we know we are doing the right thing, and I don;t think the pain ever goes away , but we do get a bit better at coping, and through the tears and heartache you will be able to remember the special times you spent together.

I'm so sorry for your loss of Bailey. My heart goes out to you because I know what you're going through, I've been through it more times than I wish.

Everyone grieves differently in their own way, you can't put a time frame on it. Take each day as they come- give herself time to grieve and your heart to heal. I hope in time you will be able to find peace in her passing and you will be able to smile when you think of her. She'll always be with you.

I'm so very sorry for your loss of Bailey... I was in your shoes a few years ago, I knew it was the right thing to do and I laid on the floor with my arms around him and cried. He will always be with you, grief is a difficult journey. I hope you will post some photos of Bailey and share some stories when you are able. This is a community who shares a bond with you and will be here whenever you need to talk. Praying for peace for you, Bailey already has it.

I am so sorry about Bailey. I too know your pain. We helped our Oakley to the Bridge on November 23 2012 and not a day goes by that my eyes don't fill with tears at least once. I don't know when it gets easier - but know that many here are sharing your sorrow. Rest peacefully Bailey.
