I'm so sorry for your loss

I am so very sorry for your loss of Harley. You did everything possible for him, and gave him extra time. Our Buddy died of a soft tissue sarcoma that had metastized very quickly. Cancer is taking far too many of our Goldens. It is so hard to say goodbye even when there is no other option. You gave him wonderful care, your love, and shared your lives together. Praying for comfort and peace for you. Hugs

So sorry that you have lost Harley. This is the cruel twist to loving a dog. They leave you much too soon.

When I took little Charlie last night shortly after midnight at back yard, I saw a new star bright and beautiful and wondered whose star it is. Heartbroken this morning I found out it is sweet angel Harley's star, beautiful like he was. I am deeply sorry for your loss, I share your tears, pain and heartbreak. When my time comes to go back home I will find your Harley and tell him something what he already knows how much his mom loved him and fought for him. Sending prayers and hugs at this hard time, hope it will help to easy your pain.

Thank you everyone for your words. Yesterday was a haze and today the pain has begun. So many of you know the feeling. You expect to hear the shake and jingle of tags in the morning and it is not there. You walk into a room and expect to see him, but he is not there. You open the fridge and expect to hear a thump as he jumps off the bed and nothing. My best friend is gone, but I have so many memories -- he gave so much of himself and asked for so little in return. It was always about you Harley.

Kathy, I am sorry for your loss. Harley must have been very special. I would love to see some of your favorite photos of him if you feel like sharing them... It's so hard.... My heart goes out to you.
