Yes, they are always loved, missed, and never forgotten. Almost a year for our Buddy (11/26). I can't believe a year has passed without him. I was hoping I would be in a better place with this, but it is still SO hard. You are right...the house is so quiet, and the holidays are rough. The only comfort I get, is that I know he is not struggling with pain any longer. Wishing us all peace this holiday season!

A dear friend of mine had this ornament made for me. The tears started flowing again, but it was very sweet of her! It's going to be a tough Christmas this year...

It is six months today since Fozzie went to the Bridge-it hardly seems possible. These anniversaries are so hard! I'm sure he's playing with all of his friends at the Bridge, but life sure isn't the same without him.....

The firsts are always the hardest including anniversaries.
I hope that you feel our hand on your shoulder and Fozzie's paw on your heart during this difficult time. We are suffering one of the greatest losses that life can possibly deal us so the pain is real and completely understandable. It will take us a quite a while for us to find our balance again. In the meantime give yourself permission to indulge in something that makes brings you comfort and joy.

Thinking of you on this extremely sad anniversary we understand so well how you are feeling. It's strange because time does help but everything about them is still crystal clear and it all still seems like yesterday. It's very hard for us to accept that Daisy has been gone a whole year and now there is a new little golden bounding around the house. Little Sammy is sure making us smile again though.

I hope that your wonderful memories of beautiful Fozzie give you lots of comfort today, and I really hope he sends you a special sign. He'll always be watching over you and I just know that Daisy and Fozzie will be having so much fun! Take care.
