I know that all the anniversaries are so hard without them and particularly hard this soon since you lost Charlie girl! You've been in my thoughts alot lately! Today was 4 months since we lost our boy Max.

4 months. It takes a long time for the pain to ease and I still get a tear in my eye reading about the other bridge babies and over Copper too even though it's been over two years. They just mean so much to us.

I hope they are all having fun at the bridge. I haven't seen a sign lately, but maybe I need to look a little harder.

Maggie - gotcha days mean so much more to rescues than their real birthdays and you gave naughty Charlie a wonderful, wonderful life.

I am dreading Christmas without Charlie it was her favorite time of year she made Christmas in our house she was always first up and would go to the Christmas tree and howl for her presents.
Then when they were all opened she would start on ours

Then the next best time of the day was dinner time she always had a full Christmas dinner it was her treat then would spend the rest of the afternoon asleep,

Have been thinking of you. I understand your pain! Reading your post, I can just see and hear Charlie! Memories are treasures that can also bring such pain when they are gone. Have been missing my boy Max and my girl Di. The holidays are sure hard this year. They bring such longing for times past.

Maggie, I know how you feel. Fozzie was quite the character at Christmas too! He was always snooping around for his gifts and was the first to open them. He would then go after ours, just like your Maggie! It's definitely not going to be an easy holiday. Sending hugs to you this holiday season.

I have just read this lovely poem and reminded of my Charlie girl.

I miss her so much still it was 8 weeks Sunday just gone.

That really is a beautiful poem Maggie!

Lovely photos of Charlie too, especially the one of her in the water. You've got so many pics of her that capture her personality so well. Your album of her on fb made me smile lots, she was such a funny girl I just know that Charlie and our Daisy are great friends at rainbow bridge having lots of fun together and creating trouble.

Thanks Charlie loved water you could not keep her out of it and i am so glad i have lots of pics of her she loved her photo taken not like Daisy she see's the camera and is off little madam.
