Fury, My Friend Flicka, Lassie and Rin Tin Tin... Cartoons were on only on Saturday morning. Later on in the mid 60's (?) was a show about a boy and his pet bear, I can see the name, taste it, but not remember it. Sky King, The Rifleman, Gunsmoke with Ms Kitty, and Bonanza: westerns were big. Saturday afternoons were the old Bowery Boy movies watched with my Grandmother. Gumby in the morning for about ten minutes before you left for school and of course 'Our Gang'.

Do you remember "Have Gun Will Travel," featuring a gunfighter called Paladin?

Oh, i have nothing but good memories of the late 50s and 60s.

I remember watching Peyton Place with Ryan O'Neil and Mia Farrow. And wasn't it on two nights a week? I must have been a freshman or so.

Saturday nights my parents would watch Lawrence Welk and I think there was wrestling show on later on -- my grandpa would watch that.

And does anyone remember S & H green stamps and all the FREE things they gave you at stores, gas stations and I even remember glasses in boxes of detergent.

I think banks even gave you interest on your savings. What a novel idea!

I remember S & H Green stamps! We used them!

We'd watch The Ed Sullivan Show on Sunday nights. Yep, cartoons were only on Saturday morning.
