Update on Hurley...
He has been acting more and more like himself - we went upstairs to our own beds last night, he did great. He ate dinner with the other dogs last night, though it took three tries for him to finish. He is still not eating well but jumping back up on the furniture again and running around the yard.
We went to the Vet this morning, PCV level is normal again, jaundice is gone, bilirubin normal but his albumin is dangerously low and ALKP still dangerously high. His white blood count is still pretty high too, so he was started on Cipro for 2 weeks. She wanted to hospitalize him he is in danger of getting fluid in the belly but so far has none...and we agreed it would stress him too much. If he does get fluid I need to rush him back in...so praying he doesn't.
What he needs most at this point is to start eating again but it is always very difficult after and IBD flare and since we have to stay low protein there is nothing he really likes. I guess I will keep feeding him toaster waffles, pancakes, etc. LOL.
Please keep him in your thoughts still - we are in no way out of danger yet, it is going to be a long and bumpy ride.
Thank you all for your prayers, thoughts and support.

And every new dog who comes into my life, gifts me with a piece of their heart. If I live long enough, all the components of my heart will be dog, and I will become as generous and loving as they are." ~ Unknown At the Bridge: Dream, Aiyana, Wolfie and Gwen
