Talked to him last night about 8:00 and asked about supper--he told me he had seen better looking stuff come out of dog and cat food cans. Lool, he couldn't even tell what the main etree was. It could have been meatloaf, could have been bar-b-q chopped up and pressed together, it could hve been a hash. But wahtever, it was awful. He figures he will starve before he gets out in two weeks.
I told him he will learn to kinda shut his mind down and eat it anyway, i did.this is the only hospital either of us have ever been in where we didn't get a choice, a menu or sorts. And it is by far the biggest hospital either of us have ever been in--in fact, it is actually two under one name connected by what they call the "sky bridge" that goes over a side street from one to the other.
My youngest brother will be down this aftenoon so i will be going and taking him his pj's, house shoes, shaving gear, own toothbresh and tooth paste, a couple of books, etc.
One thing about not getting out yesterday--i spent a lot of the day in the kitchen. Made valentine cupcakes and made sugar cookie dough, cut out with heart cookie cutter, decorated with sprinkles, etc, hae containers fixed for each of the grandkids, plus smller ones for neighborhood kids. | So glad to hear that Jerry is improving and you are amazing making cupcakes! Please tell him we are praying for him!
I made a cake once in my life, didn't come out, so that was the end of it!
