To all of the wonderful folks on GR Forum,

Jennifer's surgery went very well and they were able to do a cervical ADR at the C5-C6 vertebrae. Surgery took about 1 hour and 45 minutes and 2 hours in the recovery room. She was up and walking by late afternoon and sipping on Chicken Noodle soup from the deli/restaurant across the street. She stayed overnight with two private duty nurses with her until we picked her up at 5:00 am Thursday morning. I stayed with her for the first 6 days, then going down every other day since then. Recovery has gone well with a little residual burning in shoulders/arms currently which should diminish as time goes on. We are so blessed to have the benefit of these wonderful neurologists/surgeons/staff. We saw Luc Robitaille, highest-scoring left winger in NHL history and currently manager for the LA Kings, walk in to visit someone next door to Jenn's room. Thank you so much for your support. Vicki
