My dad had the flu. He was dehydrated. That is why he collapsed. I went home for the weekend and my youngest (4) hid my keys. I found them Monday in the couch about to go to the never to be found again spot. My dad got my youngest sick so my youngest also gave the flu (nasty) to me and my oldest son. So, instead of a two day weekend home with the boys, I had to make it four days. I headed back on Tuesday and Audrey had improved by leaps and bounds. We are at the rehab hospital now after a little hospital scare. Whew! The doctor is preliminarily saying we are likely to be discharged next week because she is doing so well. I do not want to get my hopes up, but it is very encouraging. My husband got Disney on Ice tickets so he will visit tomorrow before that with the boys. The kids have not seen each other in about 4 weeks. I know the boys are looking forward to seeing Audrey. Audrey is doing well in her therapies which started today. Thanks for all your support here!!

Your family has been throu so much in the past weeks. I hope everything is better every day from now on.

Did the doctors ever give you cause for the seizures? And how does Audrey feel about the whole rollercoaster ride?--she is probably looking forward to getting her life back to normal!

No cause was ever determined BUT three weeks after it started a family member on Steve's side mentioned that her kids have had seizures. Audrey will have her porta-cath removed and another MRI in a month or so.
It was very nice to see the boys tonight and last I heard they were having fun at the show. Audrey has been such a trooper here. She has been through so much. I know the staff and students at her school are looking forward to having her back.
