I think that's a great idea, a little holiday from chemo and letting the nasty effects subside before going another round. It's very hard to drink when you're nauseated, even though you know you should. Do you have Boost in the US. People seem to like it better than Ensure. Anyway, try watering it down a bit for Mike and ask him to try just a sip at a time to get a little fluid in.

Thanks every one, so nice to see the messages, the second set of chemo,treatments have not worked, so we are in crictual, care mode here, his psa is over 800, so cancer is growing, time seems to be limited, he is getting fluids daily by nurses here at home, so news is not good.
