This is my Sunshine girl. She has been gone for 7 years and I miss her. We had so many good times together. I got her when she was 4 years old and had her till she was almost 30. Where did all those years go.
Horses are so beautiful, they can really be like a best friend. Did you use to ride her? The feeling is amazing, when you're both a team and you're enjoying working and exercising together. It's truly beautiful how they understand what we want and how we know how they feel and what they want from us too. They're beautiful creatures.
And 30 years is a lot, I've only known one other horse to live that long. wow.
I'm sorry for your loss but just think you both shared some pretty amazing years together.

I rode her a lot. We lived by a lake and would go there. She was my first horse and taught me most of what I know. Then I decided to get into driving and got a pony. That was a blast. Now they are all waiting for me when I go home. It was an amazing journey with all of them. I loved going to the barn in a snow storm and seeing her all cozy in her stall. Fun times..
Oh my, she is beautiful - she was lucky to have a mum who loved her so much
