Hello From Arizona!

I am happy to annouce that today I purchased my first Golden Retriever puppy! So being a first time Golden Retriever owner I have been runing through all types of sites and came across this forum and decided to register. I am hoping to learn a great deal about the breed so that I may give my new puppy the best life I can offer. I have grown up around all types of dogs and since I now live on my own with my husband and my daughter I had decided it was time to add another addition to my home. I had done some light research ahead of time making sure to find the best breed that would suit our life and also be good with my young daughter. Well I kept seeing great reviews on how Golden's are so gentle with children and so sweet and well I guess I just knew that would be the best breed for us.

So yeah thats how I came here and I hope to learn a great deal from everyone here!

This is our new little girl (we are still trying to think of a name for her..I like Cricket but I dont think my husband cares to much for the name so its not set in stone yet ^^) She's about 10wks old and is such a love bug.

Oh your puppy is just adorable. Welcome to the forum. There are some very knowledgable people here. It is a great place to learn and a great place for support when you need it. Post more pictures when you can and let us know what her name is when you decide.

Welcome she is a cutie for sure....Feel free to join the group for her month..Im guessing June or July...I have a July 1 little girl who is about 10 weeks now too! This forum is really great. It seems like we all go through the samr thing so it is nice to have others to talk to when questions come up!
