Hi all I am new to this forum and so far lots of interesting reads!!
We are currently second on the list for a 'dog' and mummy Maisey is giving birth around 21 October... Overwhelmingly excited !!
Going to need a lot of support from you lovely people pretty please, my first dog and I'm a litter nervous about the first few months, training, keeping him entertained and the other million things that are in my 'month by month' retriever puppy book lol!
Firstly how do I change my profile piccy ? ? Thanks!! Mel
Hello and welcome from the coast of Texas, and congrats on you soon to me new family member. I am not very computer smart so can't tell you who to change things. I have been trying to change something in my signature for ages and it never works.
We are old parents (in our 70's) of golden retriever Sophie who will be 13 on Jan. 8, and Great Pyrenees Moose who is about 9--adopted 2 years ago so no know birthday for him.
Puppies are work, but also great fun and they can keep you laughing with their antics. And they can also make you angry when they chew on your favorite shoe. and make you laugh with their antics, and melt your heart with their puppy kisses, and worry you when they don't act right. And melt your heart with their kisses. It is just a cycle of getting a little angry, laughing, heart melting, worrying. But it is worth it.
Hi 3 goldens ! Thanks for saying hi ? I know it's going to be a roller coaster of a ride eeeeek but I'm such a dog lover and my husband is going to take the lead with the training (and we'll be following him) I'm at home daily while I work so hoping I'll get time to work and be his friend too ?? it's a big step for us as a family but know he's going to bring us lots of fun and joy
