Smile Greetings!

I'm new to the board, and this is our first Golden. This is also my husband's first inside dog..ever! We are so excited to have this little guy! He's a dream come true; I've always wanted a golden. We also have two cats and a one year old, and everyone is getting along pretty good. He will be 7 weeks old tomorrow. So far his name is Shadow! I'm still not 100% sold, I want the absolute perfect name to just come to me, and we all agree on it. We've already been through several names (from a huge list) and husband likes this one.

Just wanted to say hello and I'm excited to be in the world of goldens now!

Hey there! Welcome to the forum! Shadow is so precious I'm so glad you're having fun with him You are a wild woman with a puppy and a one year old! The baby gates will help tremendously.

Have you had a chance to find a place to sign up for puppy kindergarten and obedience classes? A really good obedience club is a terrific resource. It's definitely not too early to find one, the good classes fill up fast. You can check with your vet about what he/she recommends in your area if you need some leads.

We definitely need more photos

Welcome !
Shadow will indeed be your shadow as goldens usually become velcro dogs.
I know mine is. Sheldon is 5 months old and follows me everywhre.
Lots of luck and look forward to more pictures.

Shadow is a great name for a golden...but be careful if you're out and about...if you call Shadow you may end up with a lap full of Golden's.

Welcome to the forum...we're all looking forward to tons of pictures.

Welcome to GRF. Your little guy, whatever his final name is, is adorable! I bet he is a shadow to you and his humans, too. Mine are usually very close at hand.
