Greetings everybody, and thanks for you replies of before.

So, I was chosen to adopt the Golden baby. I have received the news this morning of the 23. Immediately, my dad (that rescue dogs), my mom (lives with him, does´t like dogs... allegedly), my brother (who also adopts) and my cousin (that lives with me) started a campaign: 'don´t buy a baby if you can adopt this one!', and 'give him a try!'

So I provided a car to bring him. At 4PM my time the car met us in front of a Church (my good luck place) and I had suddenly this big baby in my arms.

I wasn´t really expecting to fall in love at first sight. I wanted cream, he was gold. I wanted baby baby, he just completed four months old.

But when our eyes met... I was bewitched. There was nothing but tenderness and love in those happy eyes. I melted. The man dropped that huge fur-ball in my arms and the fur-ball HUGGED me. The dog really HUGGED me!!!

So yea well. He does have the tail 'truncated' or something that makes him wag a bit funny and be unfit for sales. He doesn´t have balls, he will never have babies. So what! He has a wonderful pedigree anyway, he has everything to be the most beautiful Golden, and I have already fallen in love.

For now he has shown to be a glutton, he is calm and demure, and he seem to know he is loved and safe. He sleeps a lot also. Tomorrow before work I have to take him to the vet (he has all vaccines and vermiform but he has blood on the poo and we are scared to death) and keep you all posted. It could have been the stress, or the fact the Kennel that gave him to me is not known for knowing the name of their own breeders by heart

Your Angel is beautiful! He will pay you back a hundred fold. I got my angel, Skyler at about six months old. She was a whisper of a girl, she is now 14 months old, and a complete joy!
