Welcome to the forum! I'm also in Marietta, so I'm happy to meet a local here! My breeder used the same food as yours, so I'm wondering if it's the same. I got Kobe (now 11 mo.) in Cartersville. I never tried blue buffalo and actually heard all types of opinions about it. I first used Avoderm but changed several times before finding something that worked for Kobe. He had lots of diarrhea when he was younger so it was a nightmare picking food. We finally ended up sticking with Natural Balance Ultra, it helped with the poop issues and he also likes it. Hope she likes blue Buffalo and that you enjoy every minute of puppyhood. I remember many nights of poor sleep in the beginning but it went by fast! He grew out of it quick! One thing that helped was to take his water out at least 2 hours before bedtime so he wouldn't need to pee as much during the night. When your baby is a little bigger we should definitely introduce the two! Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App

Hi Kobe's mom! I would love to get together for a puppy play date once we've had our shots!! I'm so glad to find someone else local here! We got Brandi from Lee Carroll of Golden Retrievers of Atlanta. Is that who you purchased your pup from? We have some diarrhea issues right now too, but I'm hoping it will resolve itself after she gets used to the new food. If not I will be switching foods of course. Thank you for your reply!!

Welcome, congratulations on little Brandi, she's beautiful. I lived in Marrietta a lifetime ago, loved the area. I use to feed my two adults BB but they started having problems with it, even tried several different flavors with no luck. It was too rich for their systems, put them both on PPP SS and they are both doing very very well on it. Best of luck with your little girl, looking forward to seeing lots of pcitures.

| She is adorable, and what a good idea to give her your shirt at night to cuddle with! Sometimes Blue Buffalo is too rich for puppies and can cause diarrhea, so just watch for that when she is on it fully. The best food is the one that works for your puppy.

Brandi is a cutie pie. I had Rose on Large Puppy Blue Buffalo three meals a day until she was 6 months old. I followed the lowest recommendations on the bag since she was getting treats for training and also a half a banana after our morning walk (that way she loved to come back inside) and cheese bits during our dinner (as she got older we switched that to apple). As she grew I only increased the morning and the evening feeding since I was planning to eliminate the middle feeding by 6 months. Now she is on Blue Buffalo Lamb and Rice formula (after a food test it turns out she loves that the most). If puppy eats too fast I would also have some canned food to mix in to avoid bloating. Or just some water - but that's no fun. ![]() 1 -3 months - 1 1/2 cups a day 3 -5 months - 2 3/4 cups a day 5 -6 months - 3 cups a day Now at 7 months she is back to 2 cups a day of the adult dry and 1/2 cups a day mixed in of the canned Blue Buffalo Lamb or salmon canned food. - She loves the Irish Lamb Stew. Actually she goes crazy over it - she can smell it ten miles away. ![]() We still do the treats, apple, cottage cheese, cheese bits and banana.
