any suggestions on food?
should i continue to feed him royal canin labradaor junior or should i start with royal canin golden retriever junior?

If the food you are feeding him is working for you both(he's eating and thriving and it suits your wallet), I don't think that would necessitate a change. Not sure what brands are available to you at your location, but if you have others you are curious about, this is always a great place to inquire about food.

Food isn't usually breed specific...just age and/or size! If whatever you're feeding now is working, I wouldn't worry about switching it.

I am attaching a picture of my previous golden 'Mack' when he was approximately 3 months old as well as one at 10 months old to show how short his hair was. He was a purebred golden but always had shorter hair. He managed to grow some nice fringes and a beautiful tail when he got older.

Thank you all for you replies. Well he eats any food i give him so i guess i will continue with the same if there is no such thing as breed specific food.
