I have been lurking here for the past few months, learning from all of you. As the day we pick up our new family members is only 3 days away, I thought it was time to join and jump in. You all have helped me so much already with your threads and wisdom. We are super excited to make our family complete this Christmas!!

Kathleen, mom to one human, age 17, three canines, and a bunch of fish.

Yes we are getting two puppies. We lost our two dogs a year or so ago, and needed time to mourn them. They lived a wonderful long life 16 and 17 years. We have live on an acreage and have always had dogs in pairs. I know many people warn against it, but this will be the 4th time in my life I have raised two pups at the same time and I have never regretted it. It takes more time as pups to train, but the double love is worth it. They are from different litters, one is a week older, different sex and we pick them up on Saturday!!!

I've had 2 pups at the same time and it was wonderful! They had so much fun together. I think its a great idea!
