I am your newest member from Accra, Ghana. I got an adorable golden retriever when she was six weeks old and I am trying to navigate the joys of puppies!

This is my first golden retriever, and while she makes me deliriously happy, I am
Quite clueless on everything she needs and wants. As I got her very young, I have to do a lot of the work her mummy and litter mates would have done.
So I am looking forward to sharing my joy with you and getting as much advise from you as possible.

You might want to poke around the puppy section and just read different threads there is a lot of good info there.

Thanks guys for the lovely welcome! I will be uploading some pix shortly. Secondly, my lovely puppy is teething and has the tendency to bite me and anything around. This evening it actually snapped for my finger when I pointed it at her, and asked that she stop biting. Help! :-)

WElcome to the forum, I think you will find a lot of helpful information here. Do you have any toys that are appropriate and safe for your puppy to chew? When she goes to nibble on you, quickly substitute a toy for your finger. This phase of her development will last for quite a while. Looking forward to seeing her photos
