I am new to the board. I have a twelve year old golden- Jed. He is fighting bladder cancer right now. I am mom to 4 kids ranging from 21 to 10. Our fur family consists of our beloved golden, a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Yorkie- Big, medium and little lol. We are also lucky enough to have two horses - a quarter horse and a paint. I apologize for posting in the cancer section first...not really familiar with forum etiquette and I am thinking I should have introduced myself here first. I look forward to getting to know the members and their goldens! I will figure out pictures soon ( I hope!).

Welcome to the board and no apologies needed at all. I am so sorry to hear about Jeds cancer, it's such a hard time and cancer in a very much loved Golden is a road I have travelled too. Surgery gave her an extra two and a half years but the goodbye is always too soon, no matter the age or time bought. I hope you are on a road of some helpful treatments and that you are all managing well and Jed is comfy. You have quite a houseful, sounds wonderful and we look forward to getting to know you all better. This is a great place for support and information, chime in when you want or post any updates, questions, photos or anything unrelated (chit chat section) whenever you want. We will always be here for you, good times and bad.
