Smile On the road to recovery

My name is Barnaby I am 12 years old, I have just had surgery to remove a tumour from my head, my mum took me to the vet to have a routine dental and to remove a small wart. After the surgery the vet said he couldnt find it! I had never been away from my mum and we were very anxious about the anaesthetic so were not happy with this. The wart grew bigger and my mum took me to another vet and they said it was a tumour, we were so shocked, my stitches come out next week and I am feeling better, having spent this morning emptying the laundry basket x Goldie hugs to you all

Hello to Barnaby. Glad you're feeling well enough to help your mom with the laundry. Welcome and don't bother those stitches!

Welcome to the forum Barnaby! Glad you're feeling better. I know how fun it is to help mom with the laundry. I used to have a Bichon Frise who used to love wait by the dryer, as I was taking out the just-dried clothes, to poke through the laundry basket looking for rolled-up socks. When he found a pair, he'd walk all over the house with it in his mouth, making little whimpering sounds. So cute!

Bouncing Barnaby better everyday!

Thanks to you all for your messages, I am continuing to feel better, but not look forward to getting my stitches out! Mumma is still trying to post the pictures of me, if only she was as bright as a golden! I am very embarrassed of my 6 inch scar on my head but mum says i'm still beautiful! hugs and wags to you all x
