| Hi All! I just thought I'd give an update... Today was the scheduled ultrasound for the girl that was bred last month and I just received an email from our breeder. Our breeder wrote to tell us... PUPPIES HAVE BEEN CONFIRMED!!!!!!! Yay! She said that the ultrasound showed 10+ puppies in there. Now, I'm still keeping fingers crossed that our little boy is in there and I don't think I'll feel better until the day they are born and we know for sure we are getting a dog! Just thought I would share the happy news! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone!! Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App

| I am new to the, and it looks fantastic! We just rescued a 3 year old pure bred Golden, Rusty. It is absolutely the best thing my wife have done in our lives. He is absolutely perfect, and we are so blessed by his love. It is amazing the joy he has brought us. I look forward to checking through this site for other owner's stories and recommendations. Thanks! |

The puppies are due December 18 through a scheduled c-section. I'm not sure why, maybe has to do with the amount of puppies? I'm not sure I can be patient during these next 4 weeks! Thank you so much for your kind words! Sent from my iPhone using Petguide.com Free App

| Congratulations and welcome My family and I are hoping to bring home a golden puppy this spring/ summer and yes waiting is soooo hard. I am using the time to learn as much as I can. This board is such a great way to meet people and learn about goldens while you wait. Wishing you a healthy pregnancy and delivery |

| Thank you both so much. Yes, waiting is so hard and I'm also taking the time to try to learn as much as I can, through this forum and through my own research. I wish it would help to pass the time more quickly but so far I feel like time is moving at a snails pace haha! I really do hope there will be a little one for me that will be coming home in February. One thing I really love about my breeder too is that we meet the puppies at 4 weeks, and then visit once a week until the pick up date. This will be nice to get to know each puppy and it's also something to look forward to every week. We also get to choose our own puppy and I think we are first or second pick male, although show owners get preference first, and I'm so nervous already about how you pick your puppy, but I guess I'll be back on here for advice at that time! | We picked Max from two puppies. They were 11 weeks. Max was the most active and interesting one of the two. Seemed to have the most personality. Plus he kept coming to my wife. Have fun. Hope the time passes quickly. |

| Welcome to the forum! ![]() My hubby and I had a similar situation. My first golden was my "heart" dog and we got him from my Aunt. He was a pet store purchase. ![]() Other than the cancer that took him just a few weeks after his 9th birthday, he was the best dog we ever had. We will miss him every day. It does get easier with time. When we got our new baby, Didge, I researched like crazy on GRF to make sure we got a pup that was from good breeders. We just LOVE LOVE LOVE our baby. The time will go fast... I still remember driving home with Didge like it was yesterday and he is almost a year and half now. ![]() Keep us updated on the progress! |
