Does anyone live in Anchorage Alaska , would love to have someone to walk my Golden with during the day .

What part of Anchorage do you live in? I'm originally from Anchorage and fly up several times a year for dog shows.

Good morning.
I'm in Anchorage, there are others here from Anchorage or other parts of Alaska as well.
I work during the day so meeting to walk wouldn't work. But you could go to the dog park at Connors Bog Park on Jewel Lake Rd in the afternoon. There is an informal group of mostly goldens that meets there. Most of the people are retired.
We do have the Midnight Sun Golden Retriever Club. It might be a good way for you to meet other golden owners.
Have you taken classes at Alyeska K9 Trainers? I've found a lot of other golden owners there.
In the evenings I walk at the BLM and Chugach State Park on Elmore and 68th. There a lot of golden owners visiting that park also. Lots of great trails there.
Which breeder is your golden from?
This is a great time of the year to get your dog out. Just watch out for those rutting moose! They seem to be everywhere.
PM me if you are interested in finding out more information or meeting in the evening or weekend. Anchorage has so many wonderful places to go. We also like that leashes seem to be illegal. My dogs get to run and run.

It is getting a bit chilly here now .

Moved here in June from Calgary , we are up on the hill off upper o'mally. Thanks for all the info , i really need to try some more training with Bella and someone else had mentioned K9 trainers. I will also try the dog park you mentioned , i often go down to the university lake park , but never seem to meet to many people with Goldens . I am going to the UK this week but when i return i will try to get some things in place .
