I'm so sorry. You must be heartbroken. I hope you'll stick around here and share stories about your dog.m there are many here who've lost their dogs as well. Would love to see some pictures if you're up to sharing them.

I just wanted to thank everyone on this site. Yesterday our 10 yr old golden ,Sloopy, went to chase a squirrel in the backyard and as she proudly trotted back to us,she looked back over her shoulder like she'd been shot & then dropped like a rag doll.I ran out to revive her but she died in my arms with my wife and I standing there helpless. We were searching for answers today in our grief and just seeing these other posts have given us so much comfort knowing at leasrt that this is not terribly uncommon in goldens. Thanks again for sharing your similar experiences and our hearts go out to all of you.

I'm so sorry for your loss!!! May I suggest that you post this in the rainbow bridge thread, more people will see it and they've all been through what you're going through now. Sending hugs to you and your family.
Run free Sloopy ♥
