Dogs and/in Elk

The thread about turkey being bad for dogs reminded me of a funny Thanksgiving Day story about my girlfriends pugs and a turkey carcass, which reminded me of this old story about dogs and elk.

It is really old, but true and very funny:

I know-after all this time, this is still hysterically funny to me! Not so much if I had had to live it, although I am fascinated by Gus Pong, the New Guinea Singing Dog

Omgosh! Does this story bring back memories! I remember reading this quite a few years back on Gardenweb and laughing my butt off... thanks for bringing it back up. Funny how really good stories can still make you laugh after all this time.
